Tinting advice

How do I care for newly tinted windows?

Leave your windows fully up for the first few days and avoid cleaning the inside of the glass until the film has fully cured.

Fresh tint needs time to bond to the glass. During this curing period, small water pockets or a slight haze can appear — this is normal and clears as it dries.

Once cured, clean the inside of your windows with a soft, lint-free cloth and a non-ammonia glass cleaner. Ammonia-based products can damage tint film over time.

We'll give you clear aftercare guidance when you collect your car so you know exactly what to do in those first few days.

Quick aftercare tips

  • Keep windows up for the first few days
  • Avoid cleaning the inside glass until cured
  • Use a soft cloth and ammonia-free cleaner
  • Expect minor haze or bubbles to clear as it dries
