What affects how long window tint lasts?
Tint longevity depends mainly on film quality, how carefully it was installed, and how well it's looked after afterwards.
A quality film applied in a clean, controlled environment will outlast a cheaper film rushed on outdoors. Trapped dust and poor edges are common causes of early failure.
Aftercare matters too — using the wrong cleaning products or scrubbing the inside glass can shorten a tint's life.
